With over 16 years of experience and architecture and interior design licenses in Florida and Texas, Debra Lemons specializes in interior and architectural design for hospitality, resort and hotel projects, resort sales galleries, and themed leisure environments. As the President & Principal-in-Charge of Design at L2 Studios, Inc., she establishes and often executes the design direction on more than 95% of the firm’s projects, including the management of the firm’s interior design department. Her current projects include resort architecture and interior design for Starwood’s Westin St. John Resort, Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove on St. Thomas, and interior design for units and common areas at Hilton’s Parc du Soleil in Orlando, Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Wyndham’s Shawnee Village in the Poconos. In addition, she is working with Starwood Vacation Ownership and Hilton Grand Vacations in the development of new specialty retail/Marketplace facilities within resort amenity cores.
In the realm of resort interior design, and specifically sales gallery design, Debra and her team have developed a true passion for design that is a direct extension and complement to the overall resort experience and brand. Her unique approach identifies with the culture of the developer, the operator, and the customer with an understanding of the psychology behind the sale and the purposefully designed environment through the seamless incorporation of the entire resort design team’s theme, style, and vision for the resort experience. Current sales centers on which she is working include Starwood’s Vacation Galleries at Atlantis Resort, Hilton’s W. 57th St. Gallery and Parc du Soleil, and Marriott’s Grand Chateau in Las Vegas.
