With over 32 years of architectural experience, and over 35 years of computer related and CAD experience, Richard has completed a wide variety of projects all over the world. These projects range in size from small retail and leisure facilities, to entire themed amusement parks. With a long and proven history of successfully utilizing technology in the production and management of projects, many Central Florida firms have sought his assistance as a management and computer consultant. His unique combination of technical skills and creative problem solving has allowed Richard to successfully complete projects with extremely aggressive schedules and budgets.
Richard oversees all production and technology for the firm. He is fully involved in all phases of the architectural process and responsible for all design and construction documents produced by L2 Studios. He is also responsible for all aspects of technology at L2 Studios, including hardware and software. Richard graduated with high honors from the University of Florida in 1986. While attending the University of Florida and maintaining a GPA of 3.97, he also worked an average of 31 hours per week on a variety of architectural projects for the firm of Miller Associates. Upon graduation, he and his wife of 31 years, Cheryl returned to Orlando and took up residence in the Delaney Park neighborhood where they still reside.
On many afternoons or weekends, you can find Richard on the Little League baseball field, coaching and teaching the young leaders of tomorrow. When not coaching, Richard and his family enjoy spending time offshore or cruising the islands in his boat. Richard often hosts educational sessions at his office to share his passion for success and leadership with his friends and family. Richard is an advisor and board member for a number of charities in Central Florida, including House of Hope, Frontline Outreach, and the Orlando Union Rescue Mission. He is the father of both a son and daughter, and most recently the proud grandfather of three young grandchildren.
