With over 28 years of experience, architecture and interior design licenses in Florida and architectural licenses in twelve other states, Tim Lemons specializes in architectural and interior design for hospitality and resort projects, sales centers, and themed leisure environments. L2 Studios’ current projects include resort architecture and interior design for Starwood’s Westin St. John Resort and Spa, Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove Resort on St. Thomas, Wyndham’s new Grand Beach resort on St. Thomas and complete interior design renovations for the Swan and Dolphin hotels at Walt Disney World for the Tishman Hospitality Corporation. Tim was responsible for Marriott's first whole ownership condominium project, Marriott's Outlook at Baypointe Grand Residence Resort and the resort design and amenity plan for Marriott's Bay Pointe Resort, both in Panama City, Florida.
Within the realm of resort design, Tim has developed a true passion and expertise for developing guest experience that allows the guest an immersion in the resort theme. This expertise has assisted L2 Studios in providing design for the hospitality industry leaders that include Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Wyndham and Omni. His unique approach identifies with the culture of the developer and the developer’s customer with an understanding of the resort experience necessary to allow superior guest satisfaction. Tim is a member and 2010 President of the Orlando chapter of the American Institute of Architects, he is a member of the Orlando Historic Preservation Board, the immediate past Chairman of the Orlando Downtown Development Board’s Design Review Committee, he sits on the Urban Missions Board of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and he is the design review Architect for the ChampionsGate development in South Orlando.
He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree, with honors, from the University of Tennessee in 1982, and has practiced both architecture and interior design in Orlando since graduation with projects located in over 10 countries around the world. He resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife and partner, Debra Lemons, his son and two young daughters.
