A fusion of art and technology makes this AC Hotel stand out in Tampa’s Westshore Business District.
The AC Hotel Tampa is Prisa Group’s flagship hotel in MetWest International, a 32-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Tampa’s Westshore Business District. Designed with uncompromising taste and sensitivity to detail, the AC Hotel Tampa Airport offers busy travelers the best quality experience in a prime location, without the need to overspend to get it.
The hotel’s exterior architecture features crisp, clean, white sand finishes with wood grain accent panels exuding streamlined simplicity and modern European style. One of the design hallmarks of the AC Hotel brand is to integrate modern artwork into the architecture of the public spaces. Our design team sought a key focal point that would differentiate the hotel from its competitors. An outdoor digital art installation was incorporated into the architecture on the side of the hotel. A fusion of art and technology, this dynamic 25’ x 58’ LED digital canvas spans five stories tall projects colorful, abstract imagery creating a unique light show for passers-by.
Guest rooms feature an integrated work desk with a luggage bench, and signature closet. Hotel public space is equipped with a communal table and reading section, signature lounge seating and a multimedia area. Additional amenities include a market, two media salons and a business/social events room. The hotel also houses a 900-plus square foot, state-of-the-art fitness center, pool and pool bar, and 2,300 square feet of meeting space.
Since completion, the AC Hotel Tampa Airport has been featured in multiple publications and hospitality news sites.
