Purposeful design renews a sense of harmony, comfort, and warmth to bring the congregation closer together

The Parish of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church was established in 1967. Our interior design team’s focus is on the interior of the current church, which was built in 2002 and seats 1,200. Its circular architectural design with pews that surround the altar on all sides, symbolizes the unity and equality of all people as they worship. The altar is on the Predella which is a raised platform in the center that ensures the clergy can be seen from every vantage point. Thoughtful use of color, texture, and light will balance form and scale to illuminate the space and provide a renewed sense of harmony and warmth. The gathering space in the main entry of the church, the narthex, features an artist's abstract interpretation of the stations of the cross in stained glass. A section of the wood floors open to reveal the baptismal pool in the center of the narthex. Our design includes replacing the wood floor opening with stained glass that will be lit from inside the baptismal pool. The stained-glass design over the baptismal pool will marry the artist’s original abstract interpretation with vibrant colors. New interior pendant lights and pews will be added to complement the interior appointments, while contemporary finishes and updated technology throughout will provide an atmosphere of modern comfort, like an extension of the home.
