The Westin St. John Resort was originally designed by L2 Studios in 1989 and renovated by our team in 2016.

Set on a lush green hill overlooking the white sand beaches and crystal waters of Great Cruz Bay, the Westin St. John Resort is a premium vacation ownership resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Amenities include a spectacular quarter-acre pool and on-site restaurants. Studio, one-, two- or three-bedroom villas, and townhouses of up to 2,850 square feet. Picturesque Virgin Islands views from furnished balconies on split-floor plans.

Public areas blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings and celebrate the beauty found in nature. A neutral palette with accents of subtle color establishes a close connection to nature without competing with the vibrant colors found in the surrounding environment. Warm mango wood, a wood common to the island, and natural woven materials inspired by basket makers in the town of Cruz Bay, contrast with cool tile and the clean, contemporary lines of the furniture to create an environment that aligns with Westin’s design approach while establishing a experience that is unique and authentic to St. John.

We provided complete design services that included conversion from an existing luxury hotel and new structures.  Our work enhanced the quality of the facilities and reinforced them to allow their survival from the two major hurricanes (Irma and Maria) in 2017 with limited to no damage.

The quality enhancements and reinforcements we made to the facilities enabled the resort to survive hurricanes (Irma and Maria) in 2017 with limited to no damage.
